New guy first time modifier

Postby mr-bing » Tue Jul 08, 2014 5:19 pm

Hi, im Neil from Belfast, so after years of procrastinating about getting my bike license i finally got around to it.. Picked up this little 82" 650 s/c it is taxed and mot'd and running fine 2 small issues, fork seals a little pitted and front caliper needed repair. but other wise im very happy for just £430.

Iv'e started quickly, removed fairings, seat and tank, dropping off the wheels to be repainted hopefully tomorrow or next day, waiting on a skateboard arriving to craft a new flat (bratstyle) seat, i plan to drop the forks and use clip ons.

considering leaving the tank bare, i really like the rough and dirty looking bikes, same with cars I dont like having the clean them every week and have them looking perfect.

I have only had some scooters and 125's before but i have never modified a bike so im just here for some expertise!

Always liked the look of the nighthawk motors, Wish they did that with the Custom models. Good luck with your project.

It's because your pictures are too large. Reduce them to about 640X480 and try again.
