I've been wanting an alloy front fairing for some time, too rich for my wallet though. Something low and sleek. The black one I have is too tall and the black doesn't go well with the tank.
I was in the garage last night fooling around and built this guy.[/URL]

I love the side profile. It still needs some work as head on it is too round looking. I simply cut up an old stainless mixing bowl I had laying around, wife used for mixing potting soil. The shield/ gauge cover is a shield from a 3/4 helmet. If I can get the head on profile where I like it more. I'll buy a new bowl and start over.
This one is pretty scratched up and has a couple out pin type dents. I'll add a few layers of fiberglass to the inside to stiffen it up some as well. Once you cut the outer rim off it is somewhat flimsy.
