Hi all
First time on any sort of forum.
This is my first build going for a brat/cafe style. Anyway, swingarm was so badly seized had no choice but to cut it out. All ok until it came to replacing it. I have a new pivot bolt, can get dust caps and bushes but nowhere seems to have the centre sleeve. Can anyone help. I've tried david silver spares but it's discontinued. Hoping someone that is building a hard tail might have it for me. Looking like I may have to have one made.
Thanks
Daniel

Hi Daniel, where abouts are you? There are plenty of complete swing arms for sale on ebay and one guy is selling the centre spacer seperately.

Thanks again.
I'm worried that if I buy a complete swingarm I'll have the same problem and won't be able to Reno e the sleeve.

Why not use the whole replacement swing arm? Just make sure it is pumped full of grease.

Hi Dan, I would have assumed that they would both use the same swinging arm, but after checking the interwebby I have found out that the 79 model used a 14mm pivot bolt and later models used a 16mm pivot bolt. The only thing I can suggest is wait until one does show up on ebay or contact any bike breakers in your area. :(
