Bolts from topp down to the head gasket. Where the cylinder starts. Isn't it smart to change the bolts when you first take it apart? Do not know the name of this. My first build.

What kind of "paste" are you planning to use? Make sure you do not use RTV or any kind of silicone gasket-maker.

What paste would you use?

I most likely have to order it online.

Is it only the HEAD bolts that is important to change ?

Gonna clean up and have a look at the valves also, so mart they need change/clean up or a little tap.

I've not known it to be important to change the head bolts. As far as what "paste" to use, OEM Honda gaskets do not need any kind of sealant. I can't speak for other brands. If you want to put something on them, I would use Hondabond sealant. If you use any kind of silicone, you run the risk of pieces of it breaking loose and finding their way to important oil passageways, and clogging them up.

ah ok, thanks.

I guess I heard that it would be wise to change the bolt because of strec. But I guess it would be tight when I screw them together when I rebuild.

Thanks for reply.
