Oops! That last one is out of order, so I'll put the rest here so there is some context.
I couldn't remember how I took the clutch nut off, so I had to make a tool to put it back on. I used what was in the cut off box. Spacer from aluminum on the lathe.

And now back to our regularly scheduled nonsense.
I wanted the open-triangle look without the hassle of pods and jets, so this is my system to hide the filter under the seat and duct the air through the stock distribution box. The custom parts are fiberglass cloth and epoxy, spray painted black. The filter element is the same surface area as the stock filter.

Ha,ha, I bought a parts bike with that tank on it. Didn’t want a green bike, so this one is already up for sale! The tank has been hanging on the wall for years, waiting to be useful. Best part about this project has been the parts supplied by checking the corners to see what I’ve already got on hand, or what stock there is on hand

I just noticed there were one thousand five hundred and twenty five views of the last picture I posted. While I appreciate that there weren’t any assholes complaining about shoddy workmanship (I’m an amateur), there wasn’t one comment of encouragement, or a fun teasing, or a suggestion for an improvement. So I’m obviously wasting my time posting here. I’ve already seen these pictures.

Well KerryB that number is now at 1664 and climbing! I’ve just arrived home after work and to see you progressing with your project is like a breath of fresh air. You are definitely no amateur. Please don’t stop posting. It’s not a waste of time because all your posts get studied and all these pictures are like gold to us genuine beginners. I cant wait to see what you do next….thanks for all the posts 8)

Well then , I’ll make a deal with you, if you keep posting, then I will. The camaraderie, the social community, to share ideas, criticisms, and triumphs are what make this valuable. Consider the entertainer with an empty auditorium, what’s the point.
