Slow jets in PD carbs - removable?

Postby mojoblues » Mon Dec 02, 2013 11:22 am

I've read that slow jets in PD carbs(pressed-in type) are removable, but in the manual it says they are not.
Can I remove them? I remember reading that you can do it with pliers, but I'm afraid of damaging them ..

Carefully twist as you pull outward.
You can use a rag between the jet, and pliers to keep from scrathing the outside of the jet.
Replacements are available if any are beyond use.
