Helloooo from the Wild West West Coast of Canada!

Postby d9canada » Fri Apr 25, 2014 2:52 pm

Hi, I'm new to the group  I picked up an 80 CB650C last summer that sat for years outside. I've just started restoring it, doing the carbs and cleaning up the electrical. I hope to have the motor running soon.

I have at least one of every Honda 4 displacement from 350F to 900C except 400F and 500, and I also have a 75 GL1000 and an 82 CBX. My bikes are all rescues, like the 81 750C I got yesterday. The owner was about to take to the scrap yard. It's pretty decent but it was last running in 2000. Some of my bikes come to me in pieces - like a big jigsaw puzzle  It just takes time and I'm retired 8)

My daily riders are 900C, because I have 3 roadable now and I've accumulated tons of spares. I wish I could say that for the CBX! I'm hanging a Motorvation sidecar on one of the 900Cs right now. Never a dull moment :D

Ride safe!

Is there a time warp that I missed? Your reply is dated 2006 and USBear's reply is dated 2013.. Glad to hear from you guys. Maybe this same issue is why some of the project threads I've read suddenly end in 2012 or 2013 even though the projects look like they're going well??

I think you are looking at their joined dates.

Welcome here! My daily rider is a CB900C as well. I also have a 1980 CB750C project I'm working on.
