clutch slipping.

Postby Masika » Fri Jun 06, 2014 2:28 am

my clutch slips around 7k rpm and usually only 2nd or 3rd. im guessing its simply just torque and 30k miles causing it to slip, do I need new disks or is there something I can add to the oil or can the disks me refurbished? orrr is there an adjustment to the "clutch press" not sure of the proper term but on a car you can get a sport clutch with a heavier weight so its harder to release but also has more grab.

Have you tried adjusting it at the clutch cover?
