Tried to find a post with this info but had no luck...
Need help figuring out how to make the warning unit think the tail/brake light is not out due to lower load of LED tail/brake light. You guessed it, my stop/oil pressure indicator light is always on, and I would like for it to be functional, at least for the oil pressure switch that is. Already checked the oil pressure switch and it's good. Can I put a resistor in the ground wire from the light and acquire enough voltage drop to trick the warning unit? If so, how do I figure out the proper ohm resistor to use? And, what about the green and white wire running from the brake switches to the brake light and warning unit? Do I need to do something to that as well? It's a 79'.
Thanks!
