Has anyone remagnetized a an alternator rotor for 1983 cb ?

Hmm. If its the same as in the CB 650 80 it's magnetized by current from the electrical system.

This is for a 1983 Nighthawk the rotor is a 2 piece magnet. The rotor is still magnetic but weak. The manual says the only way to test is to put in a new rotor and test it. My stator test fine & I have a new rectifier.
