O-rings

Postby Hawk213 » Thu Sep 15, 2016 12:45 pm

Hey guys! I replaced the O-rings on cylinder head along with gasket. Etc. But the new O-rings seem to be smaller than old ones. They don't fit as firmly as the other ones being they're a bit smaller in diameter. So my question is do the new ones need to be broke into? Do they expand with the heat of engine? After a few runs...or. Are they just too small? Thanks.

I'm following this thread. Where did you get the rings? Are they OEM?

My old ones where usually smashed flat over the years. Yours might be swollen from different oils and additives.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!
