Compression test

Postby rayjordan101 » Sat Feb 18, 2017 6:30 pm

I did a compression test on my bike.

Cylinder-
1. 0
2. 0
3. 0
4. 40

Any ideas how to fix this and get more compression.

Little history on the bike might be good. As stands a total rebuild or a donor engine. Depends also what else might be wrong with it.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

I took the engine apart due to leaking alot of oil when i rode it. Replaced all the gaskets in the engine and rebuilt the carbs. I had everything put back to factory settings. Cards are were tested and passed but not getting enough compression in the engine.

That probably explains it. The new rings are not seated to the old wear pattern. you can buy a cheap hone and use a drill just keep it oiled.
