crappy Carb boots!

Postby jcasey007 » Fri Jun 30, 2017 3:34 pm

Does everyone have problems with carb to head rubber boots splitting?

every year I have one or two go bad on me and crack (usually resulting in me limping home of three cylinders).

anyway I'm looking at changing to silicon tubing (reinforced turbo intercooler spec) has anyone done this yet?

I've ordered some 35mm dia tube which will be with me next week, will see if they will last longer that either new-old-stock or aftermarket version

cheers

Jim
