I found another suprise from the previous owner, seems that he rewired the stator/brush connector and did a poor job of it. Since the connector and terminals are in bad shape, I plan to buy the parts and rewire. There are 5 wires total, 3 yellow and one each black and white. I haven't chased the wires back, I'm guessing the 3 yellow are for the stator, the black/white wires are for the brushes.
Can anyone tell me the wire specs need?
I'm ordering the latch and connectors from vintage connections.

Re: Stator/Brush Wiring Harness
Well one thing is to measure the inner core diameter of those wires.
When diameter is measured you must half that measurement to get the radius.
The calculation you need to do is- r x r x pi = the area of the wires, r is the radius.
Pi is aproxemately 3.14159265359 the sign is π. Hope that helps.

Re: Stator/Brush Wiring Harness
I'm finally getting to the stator output repair. Is the sequence of the yellow wires/pins in the connector critical?
