Rocker Cover Install

Postby Hamman » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:46 am

Hey guys, just wanted to confirm before I go bending valves....Are you loosening all of the rocker arms on the head before installing it onto the cylinder? I tried to install it last night but stopped immediately once I realized it shouldn't be this difficult to install. There was a lot of tension on it. I recall in the manual it stating to do so just wanted to see if it is necessary to loosen all of them or just the ones in contact when set to T1/4..

Thanks!

It is way looser to loosen them. I have done it with out but then i did end up striping out a bolt.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

Sweet, I had it on and the motor spun over freely a few times, no binding, etc... but still freaked me out so I undid all of it..probably was more than fine though haha.
