My pilot jet is way too tall yet i was told this was the one for my carbs???

thats a 79/80 idle jet. the 81 is down in the hole and "non removable". with luck maybe some one put on 82 carbs and it is removable. just need too look

I took this pout of the carb manual thread and made it into a thread of it's own.
Take a look at the side of one of your carb bodies. Your bike should have VB44A carbs. If they are from the 82 model, as CB650 suggested above, they will be VB44C carbs. If there is any other model number on them, tell me what it is and I'll figure out what they are from.
