81 cb650c fender strut points same as 80?

I'm looking at getting a hitch for my 81 cb650c. It was made by the manufacturer in 1980 and thus is billed as only being for a 1980 by the reseller. Are the mounting points the same on the 81 as on the 80? The reseller did say that part of it attaches to the passenger foot pegs and it did not come with any installation photos or instructions.
