How would you remove this heated grip?

Postby juntjoo » Sun Dec 02, 2018 2:54 am

I'm guessing I prematurely pressed this on not cleaning enough the handle underneath as I cannot press it on any further. And I hammered it on pretty good with a mallet. So far my space heater isn't working or I'm just not strong enough. Is there a trick or a tool anyone knows of to help here?

Oops. I broke it. Never mind. I guess I need a new tube.

Once my new(used one) arrives, what's the trick to getting the pull cable back in with no one to help? I'm guessing I gotta find a way to release the cable from the carbs to give it slack to attach to the tube right? Open to tips

And I got some $20(good reviews) alpha moto pod filters for ease of getting the carbs on/off. Not gonna go through that hassle anymore. If they don't work out, $20 experiment
