My bike had a very hard time idling last time I rode it, so while it's cold and snowy out, I figured I'd assess the issue. The problem was that all four slow speed jets were completely blocked. I decided to remove them for cleaning or replacement. These are the pressed in kind that are a huge pain to remove. I did this by drilling and tapping the opening before the orifice to #4-40, and tightening a #4-40 machine screw and bolt onto it until the jet popped out. I did this for all four jets, and they all came out nicely.
The problem now is that I want to replace the jets, but I can't find them anywhere online. I can find some pressed in jets for a similar model but I'm not sure if it will fit. What are the thread specs on the '82 jets? I might just tap the holes and put in threaded jets. Has anyone here had experience with this?

Yes, I am still on the hunt. That actually looks like it will work, I guess I wasn't looking hard enough. If these fit, wont #38 be too rich though? My current jets are #35. I do plan on eventually installing a higher flow 4-1 exhaust, but I fear #38 will still be too rich...
