Is the 82-83 cb750sc stator and regulator compatible with my 82 cb650sc?

It's a good deal I'd like to take advantage of of possible. It looks like the bolt holes are different distance than mine for the regulator but I can deal with that but otherwise it looks like these parts could be the same. Anyone know? Otherwise It'll cost another $50 for both. Thanks

When you compare:
https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda ... alternator to https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda ... alternator you will find that the stator parts numbers differ.

For the 650 SOHC the second number in the parts number should be 426 or 460.
From this one could guess that the rotor should be the same for both.
Therefore I would assume that the 750sc stator should basically work with the 650 SOHC rotor but it is unclear if it fits into a 650 SOHC alternator cover at all.
The rotor-stator airgap is narrow and positioning has to be precise so I would not think that it does make sense to try this without real need.
