I was reading on the SOHC forums that it may be worthwhile to change out your spark plug wires to get a boost in performance... My wires/caps are pretty dirty and look to be original. And I don't think the plugs are producing a blue spark anymore. I'm thinking putting new wires on certainly can't hurt the situation, but I've never done it before.
It doesn't look complicated, but does anyone have experience or tips/tricks to installing new wires & caps? And where would be the best place to buy them, and what size should I be looking for?

New plug wires
I would recommend Z1Enterprises. If you call them they will advise you about the wires and caps you need, and the best way to install them.

I think these will fit btw:

But as I said, if you call them they will know.

The difference is 1mm.
What it means is that some coils will take 8mm wires and others will take 7mm wires. It is difficult to install the 8mm wires on a coil for 7mm wires, and a 7mm wire will be to loose in a coil made for 8mm wires.
And if you get Jeff at Z1 on the phone, say hello to him from Ivar from Norway. He knows who who I am.
