Yes, keep careful, the chassis of the CB is not really easy to handle for a beginner. Fortunately it is quite uncritical to get grund contact with the Custom in corners. First come the footpegs, slightly later the main stand. A bit more and the rear smears over the main stand a bit which makes an ugly noise and moreover usually brakes enough to catch again back on the wheels. Any hang-off efforts are contraproductive as stabilization suffers that way. In contrast it is advantageaous to press it slightly into the corners. You may loose a bit free heigth (which however provides some reserve) but gain stability. At least that's my experience. And beware of bumps in corners! :o
