Try on the nitehawk forums. Although the one I was in awhile was more geared for the newer 750's.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

Good evening gents

I’m trying to remove my clutch plates and basket but can’t get the central washer off. Is it a normal thread or reverse thread? I’m trying to turn it anticlockwise to loosen it but having no luck. Am I tightening it by mistake?

this is the tool you will need, very handy when attached to your impact gun to remove. snap your impact gun a few times and it will loosen easy. install is tricky when torquing to spec. you could use your impact gun to torque just be careful not to over do it.

threading is NORMAL. CCW to loosen and CC to tighten.

Thanks JSmith for responding to such a basic question!

Washer is off FINALLY, hopefully I will get to the starter clutch this weekend.

Have an awesome week 8)
