Clutch Housing Cap

Hey, this may be stupid. But I'm adjusting the clutch according to the Clymer manual, but I'm not sure how to get the clutch housing cap off. Is it threaded? Do you need a giant screwdriver to get it off? Or does it pop off?

It is threaded. I didn't have a big enough screwdriver, so I used the end of a prybar as a screwdriver to remove it.
