Re: '82 cb650 parts
What is the key code number? If it matches one one of my keys, I may be interested in the helmet lock.

My key has "209" stamped in it. It's a Honda key. Not sure if Honda put the number like that. Let me know. Any tidbit of knowledge is always good.

Re: '82 cb650 parts
OK, thanks.
The number is stamped in the original key. It is also stamped on the bottom of the gas cap, the barrel of the ignition, and the bottom of the helmet lock, but you have to take the mount plate off to see it. On the locks, there are additional letters and numbers, but the 209 answered my question. It will not work to replace the one I am missing.

I checked a couple parts sites. It looks like the buckets are the same. The lights look to be different. Yours looks to have a big sealed beam. Mine uses a small replacement H4 bulb. The lens doesn't get changed. I think the connectors are the same. Ill check on shipping.

It should work with no problem. I replaced one of my '80 headlights with an 82.

Sure. Send me a pm with your whole address, my work uses fedex & they need the actual address for a quote. If you send me your e-mail address, I'll send pics. Can't seem to get pics up on here. thanks

Nitro I see you are getting rid of the airbox, did you use pods for air filter on your build? I need some advice on that conversion thanks!
