Parting Out: 1981 Honda CB650C [Two-Tone #9]

1981 Honda CB650 Custom
I picked up this bike last month, not as a parts bike, but as a project for myself. I've parted out several CB650's and I've been wanting a roadworthy one for myself. It has a title and it ran (but not well). I felt this one was the best starting point for me. I parked it over in the corner of my workshop, and have never got to it. In the process of selling parts off my other CB650 bikes, I've had several requests for parts that I did not have available. I caved, and began selling off parts from this one. I COULD still put this one back on the road, but I know realistically, it's just never going to happen. So this bike is now officially a parts bike. Many important parts have already sold. I will list those parts at the end of this message.

FAQ's:
- I have a notarized open Ohio title for this frame.
- Showing 12,513 miles on the odometer.
- The cam has already sold.
- Yes, that's not the original carbs. It has a 1980 head and carbs on it.
- Some front end components on this model are different than others (triple trees, forks, brakes, master cylinder, etc).

This will make the ninth CB650 that I have parted out in the past couple years. Some might think that I am a business, but I'm not. I'm a stay-at-home dad of three, an average Joe, and a motorcycle junkie. I own and ride several different bikes. I have a small workshop in the basement of my home. I often buy local UJM's from the late 70's and early 80's. I did not intentionally try to 'specialize' in the CB650, but they tend to follow me home more often than any others. I part them out to supplement my wife's income and try to help make ends meet, and sometimes I fix them for myself.

I will answer PM's, but if you have an interest or questions about specific parts, it's usually best (and quicker) if you email me directly at witttom@yahoo.com (three T's in w-i-t-t-t-o-m).

I will be updating this thread with a list of parts that have sold. It is fairly common for me to ship parts out the following day after receiving a PayPal payment, but sometimes it takes me two or three. If PayPal doesn't work for you, we can figure out an alternative. If you do not see the part that you need, check with me. I still have LOTS of parts from my other CB650's and may have what you're looking for.

These items have sold (or are not available) from this bike:
Fuel Tank, Emblems, & Petcock
Side Covers, Emblems
Front Fender
Cam & Tach Drive Gear
Points Cover
Grab Rail Bolts
Fender Bolts
Chrome Airbox Covers
Exhaust
