Hello all,

As previously mentioned, early this morning I performed some maintenance to the site. There is more work to come, but here are the highlights from this maintenance window.

Prep work - December 18th:
    Disabled New User Registration
Downloaded latest version of forum software
Downloaded new user registration counter measure software
    Backup forum
    Backup database

Maintenance window - December 19th:
Upgrade of forum software from 3.0.x to 3.1.6
    Removed Facebook integration
    Removed Google integrations
    Removed SEO tracking integrations
Added a new user registration counter measure (still testing)
Added Tapatalk support (User request from earlier in the year)
Configured new user registration counter measure
    Configured Tapatalk
    New Topic creation test
    Reply test
    Delete topic test
    Enabled new user registration

Yet to come:
Straighten out Moderator Privs (so they do not get annoying email messages when new users register)
    Further customize forum look
Write formal announcement for Tapatalk feature
    * Update: The old logo doesn't work well with most modern forum styles. Create new logo or hold logo contest. If you have a preference please comment below.

As some of you know, I haven't ridden in 5 years, and as such I do not participate in the forums very regularly. Yesterday was my last day at Palantir, and I don't have anything lined up just yet. Today, as luck would have it, I received a message from godaddy about domain renewal for the site. It isn't due until Feb 25. it won't break me to renew the domain, but it would be nice if somebody stepped up. Web hosting services are still generously provided by a former co-worker and friend, so the domain and time are the only expenses the site incurs.

Got a Paypal link? Happy to help what I can. A lot of forums put that somewhat prominently on various pages..might be something to think about.

Thanks for hosting,
Rob
