Wedding anniversary!

Postby Volker_P » Tue Apr 10, 2007 2:24 am

Just realized that today exactly 15 years ago I got my CB! :D
Man I was proud then! It was my first real motorcycle and I thank it many priceless experiences and memories. Hope we can have some more good years together. :D :D :D

Happy anniversary! :D

I think someone once said that if you take really good care of a bike it will outlive you.

Thanks!
When I compare to the old pictures it is rather me than the CB that looks older now.

Congratulations! Your marriage has lasted longer than most.

After 15 years I think the seat should fit your ass perfectly.

How many happy km together?

Hmm, got me thinking. I got mine in spring 1992. So how much is it now? Hey! It's 15 years as well! But, I would be lying - last year i found a replacement in much better shape - their frame numbers were only 15 apart! Feel is exaclty the same now, though :D

But, yse, those bikes, when you take care of tehm, and don't do wheelies and speed records can really last...

Welcome here, Buber,
Another victim!
Congratulations! Thats funny, I also considered a replacement in much better shape end of 2005 but it makes no sense as long as I still have that wet garage so I skipped it for this time.

Thanks Vatch,
it is a bit above 100000km now, still first engine but considerably starting smoking and consuming oil above 6000rpm. I did replace front and rear brake pads last year and did (once again) the cylinder head job to stop the oil leakage on my boots.
And yes, I really enjoy to have a perfectly fitting seat.
