Manufacturers blueprints?
Hey all, my friend has a 78 hondamatic 400 and he took a piece off and can't put it back on. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a copy of the original plans or blueprints or whatever they are called. It would be nice to have access to something like that for my cb 650 as well! Thanks!!
So...when will your bike be finished? Umm, never. It is an old bike, there's always gonna be something to do!

not really sure what model you need, but try:
http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp
for a service manual. if it's the same as a cb400, the file:
Honda_CB400F.pdf
has some very good exploded views.
or just tell your friend to quit pulling parts off his bike.

Thanks!! We got it fixed. It turns out that it wasn't his fault. He was fixing a leak and some striped bolts. There was a special way to put the piece back on and mesh all the gears. It was the torque converter that we were having trouble with.
