I have a 110 volt Campbell Hausfeld 2 horse, 125 psi and I think about 25 to 30 gal tank. It has been serving me for almost 30 years and never skipped a beat. I do the usual wrenching and some painting, texturing, body work etc. If you plan to paint consider a gravity feed gun rather than a siphon type. It will use far less air. When I use a large air grinder it will use too much air for the compressor to keep up and I have to wait sometimes. Hope this helps with your choice
