For those who cuss the 650 charging.
For those who cuss the 650 charging.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!
Re: For those who cuss the 650 charging.
Don't see pics there (although "with pics" in the headline). Maybe SOHC4 members only or already deleted?

They are there about halfway down the thread. Maybe you do need to be a member of sohc4 to see them.

Re: For those who cuss the 650 charging.
Thanks. I found the short text passages where I would assume the pictures should be. So it seems these pictures are not open to public or its my browser settings (although I played around a bit).

My dad looks at things there and he isnt a member so must be you.
I'll try to bring them over. If you read it you know what it takes. Pic is just with the engine out. A BIG engine. Watercooled 1200 boxer.

Re: For those who cuss the 650 charging.
I took up the idea and tried my fathers computer without success. Well, not that much surprise as it is the same guy who set up his computer....

Re: For those who cuss the 650 charging.
Thanks, this worked.
Looks like a chain driven permanent field rotor with the stator being the inner part fixed inside the cover on the floor. So probably no rotor problems here.
Interesting that the rear shocks have rubber covers.

Re: For those who cuss the 650 charging.
Stators burn out and are bolted to the rear cover. Thats why the engine has to come out to do it. Rear shocks are air.
