Hi guys,
Been a lurker here for a while and learned a bunch. Alas, I'm putting my bike up for sale. I bought it new, its got less than 11,000 miles on it. Never rode it a lot but knew if I sold it I would be wanting another bike. Well, I bought a 1986 Virago a couple years ago so now the 650 is for sale. Just don't want to be storing two bikes anymore. The bike has a Quicksiver fairing on it. Also new in the last 1500 miles are the stator, reg/rect, tires, coils, chain and rear sprocket. This bike is in exceptional condition for being 30+years old. It has always been garaged. No dents in the tank. Guages aren't faded. Issues currently are a leaking seal on the left fork and the right rear turn signal is cracked where the screw that holds it on is. There are the two front signal lights that were removed when I put the fairing on that could replace the cracked one. I have the original headlight also. Price is $2000. (dropped from $2200) If your a collector type of person I think you would be really pleased with the condition of this bike. Contact me at 715-693-four two five four for more info and I can e-mail pictures. If I can't get $2000 I'll wrap it in a plastic bag and stick it in the corner. NADA price has been going up for the last three years and will only keep increasing.

I think I would lose that butt ugly backrest, and probably the sell the fairing separate. You may have more luck. Nice bike though. Good Luck.

Welcome here!
Really great bike!
I won't say it is not worth it as it is but probably your chances to get the money increase if you bring it back to stock.

My bike is still for sale. Price drop to $1800. I've removed the butt ugly backrest but you can take it with you if you want. Have the parts to restore it to original if you want to remove the fairing. Just put a new battery in a month ago.
