Wiring loom route

Postby Riche » Mon Oct 23, 2017 3:16 pm

Hi, I am after a little guidance, I have a cb650a/z (I think) which I am building but I don’t know what route the the main wiring loom takes from the battery compartment, under the fuel tank and out into the headlight bowl. Can anyone help clear this up?
Thanks
Rich

I have tanks off a couple 650s and can get pics. one is a 82 nitehawk and the other is a 80 custom. should be pretty close to the Z
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

It pretty much just goes along the left side of the spine of the frame (unless the Z model is completely different).

Thanks, does it go under or over the tank rubber mounts and through the left metal loop welded on the triple tree stem thing?

Thank again
Photos would be awesome
also whats under the left hand frame cover? I have this triangular metal cage thing which a tool kit fits into but I can't find any pictures of how it fits etc... was thinking I could probably put a oil catch can in there anyway as the orginal air filter was replaced with pods before my ownership..

Thanks
Rich
