Right gasket set but different head gasket.

If it's broken or just needs tweaked

 Wow! you're the first person in the entire history of the World to make a mistake
I happen to know that just about every vehicle ever made only has genuine spare parts made for roughly two years after a particular model ceases production, they may make an absolutely huge quantity but production will cease. It would be bad business to continue making gaskets for a motorcycle that wasn't made for close on 40 years. My neighbour works at a motorcycle shop in town and told me that they only keep spare parts for maximum of 5 years then the parts are either binned or sold on to companies that specialize in older parts. He told me this after I asked him if the Honda Dealership he works at had a head gasket for my bike
That will be the reason that there are base gaskets aplenty but no head gaskets, cos heads are changed more than base gaskets so stocks get depleted. All of these genuine gaskets that are for sale today would have been made in the 80's, hence my comment to hoop about him not trusting a 30+ year old gasket, there is no choice but to use one if you want genuine. :(

I usually make 20 mistakes for every one thing I get right, but in my defence, I put things together wrong just in case they fit better

I can put things back together and have parts left over. I'm just being more efficient!

Wouldn't it be great if you rebuilt a bike and had enough bits left over to build another one?

I only have the 650's and besides 4 complete mostly runners I could probably build 2 more with my leftover parts.
