Hello everyone, it is good to be back!
I moved from Tennessee to Florida, so have been out of touch a couple years! Nice to be back though! Anyway, I kept the Honda, and now have a question concerning a repair I did in Tennessee, that of a clutch case cover (right side of the engine, the right wall of the oil reservoir) gasket that started leaking after I attempted to check the clutch discs. I never got it to seal right, and it seeped oil afterward. Now I am back to riding again (at last!) I am attempting to see what can be done to seal that turkey. The gasket material I used was thin, but won't quite seal it. I was considering the gray silicone-like substance that they use on dirt bike engine cases, but if I recall that stuff is to seal cases that are frequently taken apart, and this is one I don't really desire to repeatedly crack open.
Secondly, has those gaskets for the rubber rings on the top of the heads gotten any more available of late? Last I checked, they were pretty rare, and I really got tired of the 650 peeing a little oil on my left leg every time we went out. My leathers started to get fouled! Ideas??

11394-426-306 is the Honda part number, and it is called the right crankcase gasket when I can locate mention of it. However I have not seen it in stock anywhere yet...

Re: CB650C clutch cover leak
It is the one that is sort-of round, not the long, oval one. This one is kindof like a snail shell, wrapping around itself.
Also, those little gasket rubbers on top of the engine, they are cracked and need replaced....I have no idea what they are called. There are several of them, looks to be two different styles for the same function based on where they are located, if memory serves (the bike is not in front of me right now).

Hi bubba, https://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-CB-550-6 ... 2123250801 and welcome back. This one seems to be a bit thicker than your average pattern gasket. Pay no attention if a high postage price appears in any link I provide from ebay, I'm in the UK and that is the price that I would have to pay ,not you.

Do you mean the pucks? There would be six of them? Part 13 in this link? If so then they are available.

Is it part # 13? Those rubber sealings? I wonder if it's bossible to use some kind of cement that can withstand oil to seal them?
Riding bikes? I ride where ever i want and whenever i want.

ok, Partszilla is now bookmarked on this computer, though many parts are of course no longer available. They do have some of the seals though, so that I call a win! Thanks!

CMSNL have those rocker cover gaskets, they are in Europe though. They may also have other parts that Partzilla don't have.
